Gypsy's second show was in Hinckley, Minnesota, opening for Styx. Gypsy (third show) played in (downtown/outdoors) Minneapolis on September 4th (1999), at the Mill City Music Festival. They started out with the familiar "warning...warning" but played "Around You" instead. Also included was a fun laser show. The author made it to that show.
Owl told me that the show almost didn't happen. It seems Owl and the band wanted CASH and they didn't get any until the last minute when someone showed up with $5,000 in a pizza box. Good for Gypsy, rumour is that many bands got rubber checks for the Mill City Festival!
Again, thank God I am not a full time musician.
