"Gypsy Logo" by Alfons Mucha

Alfons Maria Mucha was a Czech born artist, later relocated to Paris, who was one of the leaders in French Art Nouveau of his time. Alfons was born in 1860, died in 1939. This cover is based on his painting "Zodiaque", which he finished in 1896.

ALFONS MUCHA

Another Alfons painting, "Blond" was used for the cover of "James Walsh Gypsy Band" , released in 1978.
